At The Giving Bean, our mission is to serve our local community by providing high-quality, gourmet coffee and treats. We believe in giving back to those in need and making a positive impact on families and students in our area.

Meet the Owner

Hi! My name is Sheena Tyszka, owner of The Giving Bean. I am a Mom of 3 and have been a teacher for the past 17 years. While staying home to care for my children, I wanted to continue to find ways to help students and families in the community. That's when I decided to combine my love for teaching AND my love for coffee. I designed The Giving Bean to bring the convenience of coffee to our hard working teachers. What better way to help students than by caffeinating the ones who need it most... Teachers!

The Giving Bean Fund welcomes tips and donations along the way to partner with schools and local organizations to help support students and families in need. As we strive to make a difference in our community, we welcome you to follow along with our journey. It is my hope that The Giving Bean creates a name for itself and is recognized for not only serving quality coffee, but for all the ways we give back and support families and students in our community.
